Getting from ‘here’ to ‘there’ is as intimidating as a cross-country marathon to a non-athlete. The process is too overwhelming to be achievable. But that is the unknown speaking. Instead, look into the future, just one a step at a time, and select the path that will define the enlightened you. Take it from day to day and recognize the wonder that a simple action and mind change can do for you. Today is only a step, not a leap. Meditation is a wonderful tool to see your heart. It lets you talk to the inner self and recognize what you are or are not dealing with. It can allow you, with no judgments, to peer at your real intent which is not always apparent. This is you getting in contact with who you are today.

Yoga asana, or the physical postures you may have practiced in class, are the embodiment of certain concepts that are meant to serve as examples of how to live a balanced life. In other words, if you are in a balance pose, learn to understand where is the balance is in your life? These day to day lessons or activities do just that. You can unveil the not-so-nice aspects that you want to alter or realign to the person you really expect.
