What can the journey of your soul beyond the body teach you?
One of the principle concepts about “reality” that we tend to ignore in our average day-to-day life, is that we are not the body that we walk around with.
Of course, your body shares with you all sorts of sensory input – distance, speed, sensations of both pleasure and pain.
We perceive the experience of the world around us through trillions of nerve cells in our skin, and by decoding the vibration of molecules that are inhaled through our nostrils. We translate the light waves radiating all around us into shapes and colors, and recall point by point the faces of those whom we love. Your eyes don’t create the images that they perceive, anymore than your ears generate the sounds that they convey. Your body is not who you ARE, It is what is used by your Consciousness to perceive, and is designed to operate specifically within this particular dimension, just like in the movie Avatar.
Consciousness however, is what you truly are. Try telling this to those who believe that the body is the whole point however, and they will be mystified for certain, and possibly even terrified of the implications.
The truth, no matter how contrary it may be to common belief, remains true.
Galileo discovered this the hard way, when the learned men of his day refused to gaze into the telescope for fear that this glimpse would shatter their worldview. They literally could not bring themselves to even look much less consider, the implications. They would, to a man, (because women had no say in the matter 😉 rather condemn an innocent genius to torture rather than possibly learn anything new about reality.
Nope – the Earth is not in fact the center of the Universe, anymore than your body is the center of who you are.
Our consciousness is not limited by gravity, space or time. In fact, those who have ventured into the Great Hereafter through NDEs and other altered states, all report that Awareness is infinitely more interesting than most of us on conveyor belt lives ever realize or even attempt to access.
Look deeper, know more, and discover who you are Beyond Time.
