Reiki Energy is energy. Everything you touch, taste, see or hear is made of oscillating waves of energy. Your senses perceive and translate them as color or sound or texture, but it’s all just different wavelengths of Light.
Organs have signature frequencies within the Bioelectric (Auric) field that you know to be your body, and all 70 trillion cells in your body communicate via frequency. Your heartbeat sends electrical impulses. Every thought or sensation that you have or that you pick up from another brain is sent via electricity we call brainwaves.
Bioelectricity, the body’s magnificent energetic field, was first discovered by scientist Luigi Galvani in 1781 and from whom we get the term galvanism, the contraction of a muscle when stimulated by an electrical current. In fact, nothing happens in your body without an electromagnetic exchange.
Simply put, you are not what you may have imagined you are. You are what your energetic frequencies are. Which is why I teach Reiki.
Reiki is a particular current of this energetic frequency that we, the Reiki attuned practitioners, access, share and output like a transistor radio. Which is why receiving Reiki is such a gentle, healing and peace-inducing experience. These healing frequencies oscillate from 0.3 – 30 hz, (or cycles per second), but mostly hover in the 7 – 8 Hz realm.
Interestingly, ancient yogis called the zone of 7.83 Hz OM, which also corresponds to the Theta brainwave state of dreaming sleep, hypnotic states, and the Schumann Frequency, or the brainwaves of Mother Earth. (Interestingly, in June 2014, the Schumann Resonance began spiking up to between 12 – 16.5 Hz which correspond to low Beta brainwaves, or that quiet, gentle “becoming awake” feeling that you may experience sleeping in on the weekend. Seems the world really is waking up 😉
So what does this have to do with you learning Reiki? Well, it’s quite simple actually.
- If you want to wake up, get attuned.
- If your life feels like it is running off the rails, get attuned.
- If you want to do something more with your life than you currently have to get attuned.
You can clearly see the downside of staying asleep in your life, right? The shrill ringing of the alarm clock scares the bejeezus out of us all. But you can actually take the energy back into your own hands, literally, and do something more with the frequencies that you know of as your body, your mind, and your health. You can actually DO something more positive about the stuff that you find troublesome, and you will actually discover how much more powerful life on this side of the frequency field can be. Of course, the only way you will find out, is to become Reiki attuned and feel what it means for you.
